Its a pleasure to share with you this 1910 California Craftsman Bungalow known as the Richard B. Hampson Home. This home is located in Downtown Riversides Historic District of Colony Heights which is known for its impressive turn-of-the-century homes and features many iconic Craftsman, Foursquare, Spanish and a few other Revival styles. 4450 Sixth Street has a classic Craftsman faade with clapboard siding, wood-framed windows, second story dormer and of course a comfortable, shady front porch. Some more unique features of the home are the large living and dining rooms as well as extra large kitchen. In the 1990s the property underwent a significant renovation where the dining room and kitchen footprints were enlarged. They also finished the attic into an incredible master suite that includes an office space which could also be used as a fourth bedroom. In the back garden they added a wonderful wrap-around porch from which there are views of Mount Rubidouxs ridgeline. Although the property was altered they managed to retain the original materials and the new additions were done in a period appropriate manner blending seamlessly into the house. This property also features an original two car carriage house with attached work/office space in addition to its two car garage. This beautiful home was featured in the 2011 Old Riverside Foundation
