August Market Snapshots

AUGUST MARKET SNAPSHOTS

August is typically one of the slowest months of the year for real estate, but in 2020 and 2021 we didn't really have any seasonality. Activity stayed strong right through year-end. 2022 is a return to normalcy in that regard, so we've seen some cooling of demand this month as result of higher interest rates and what felt like a mass exodus to Europe in August!

What do you think September will bring? I'm still hoping for more good inventory for my qualified buyers! Although inventory is up from where it's been, it's not nearly enough!
